Ingredients
- 2 wedge lemon
- 6 fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 tsp. superfine sugar
- tsp. ground ginger
- 6 tbsp. sweetened pineapple juice
- 3 tbsp. Gin
- Seltzer
Directions
- Step 1In shaker, combine lemon, basil, sugar, and ginger.
- Step 2With muddler, mash ingredients until basil is bruised and lemon releases its juices.
- Step 3Stir in pineapple juice and gin.
- Step 4Pour mixture into Collins glass filled with ice, discarding lemon wedges. Top off with seltzer. Garnish with additional basil, if desired.
